GNM

GNM programme is meant to prepare general nurses who can efficiently perform as members of the health team and capable of dealing the competencies in both the hospitals and other such organizations. The curriculum of GNM consists of immense knowledge of fundamentals of surgical as well as non-surgical nursing. This programme is run strictly complying with the guidelines of Indian Nursing Council (INC).

Nursing is a noble profession. It is a promising area offering diverse job opportunities to male and female aspirants. Nursing is an integral part of healthcare sector. Nurses play an important role in the smooth functioning of various healthcare setups. It is a discipline that focuses on care, rehabilitation or treatment of patients. The main objectives of the above mentioned actions are- prevention of diseases, rehabilitation and maintaining good health of patients and/or general public.

Course Eligibility

10+2 passed preferably Science(PCB) & English with an aggregate of 50% marks and up to matric.

10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Healthcare Science – Vocational Stream ONLY, passing out from recognized Board under PSEB/CBSE/ICSE or other equivalent Board with 50% marks.
